client profile: Body & Soul Spa and Fitness is the leading company of its kind in the Grand Strand area. The company is an all-inclusive spa and fitness center located in Myrtle Beach. The facility offers a full-range of spa services including massages, body treatments, skin care services, nail care, fitness facilities and personal training.

the challenge: Having been labeled the “spa for woman ”Her Body & Soul had become a well-established, all-inclusive business.However, consumer confusion regarding the target audience and the company’s offering had arisenad the old brand was getting very tired and needed to get a facelift and new energy behind it. To address the confusion, an upgraded image and message to better communicate the product and expanding services to other members of the community would need to be developed.

the plan: Collins + Company created a full rebranding marketing campaign to establish the company as the premier spa on the Grand Strand. The integrated marketing campaign included a new brand identity, new website, new brochure, new outdoor campaign, social media marketing, email marketing and public relations. The spa would be rebranded as “Body & Soul Spa and Fitness Center.”

the result: The marketing campaign promoting the new brand launched with great success and continues with record pace sales. Record breaking sales with Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas Promotions surpassing previous years. The new campaign has brought new life and buzz to the Spa and is enjoying it’s rebirth as the premire day spa in the area.
